Newly-crowned Miss Universe Australia Olivia Rogers and Olympic track cyclist Alex Edmondson have been named as official Crows Ambassadors.

Rogers and Edmondson join a select number of prominent and passionate Crows supporters who are recognised as Ambassadors including Lleyton Hewitt, Patty Mills, Darren Lehmann, Callum Hann, Sam Willoughby, Beccy Cole and Alex's sister Annette Edmondson, to name a few.

Awarded the Miss Universe Australia title in June, 25-year-old Rogers currently lives in Melbourne and will attend the Club’s Melbourne Business Lunch this Friday, July 28 at Metropolis Events in Southbank, before heading along to the Crows’ clash with Collingwood at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.

The South Australian-born speech pathologist has followed the Crows from day one thanks to the influence of her dad who is a passionate supporter.

Rogers said she was excited to be on board as an official ambassador.

“My dad is a huge supporter so some of my earliest memories are going along to Crows games at AAMI Stadium and the MCG. I was always one of those fans who was decked out from head to toe in club merchandise,” Rogers said.

“Needless to say, Dad’s pretty excited that I have been named an ambassador – as am I and the rest of the family.

“Eddie Betts would have to be my favourite player. I’ve looked after his kids before as a close friend introduced us and they’re a beautiful family.

“I’m looking forward to attending the Business Lunch on Friday and then getting to the MCG for the game on Sunday – it’s one of my favourite things to do.”

As well as her Miss Universe commitments, Rogers is currently writing a children’s book, manages her famous dog “Mooshie” on Instagram and has a business where she sells her art.

Edmonsdon, who is currently based in Europe where he is riding with Orica-GreenEdge, has also been a long time supporter of the Club.

He has competed in track cycling at the London and Rio Olympics, where we won a silver medal in the team pursuit. The 23-year-old is also a three time world champion.

As Ambassadors Rogers and Edmondson will attend a number of Club events and matches each year.

The Club’s 2017 Melbourne Business Lunch will be hosted by Hamish McLachlan with guest speakers Rob Chapman and Eddie McGuire.

Tickets to the lunch, which includes a two course lunch plus Bird in Hand beverages, are still available at afc.com.au
