Adelaide fielded 31 players throughout Season 2017 – the least of any team.

Captain Taylor Walker finished second in the League, behind only Coleman Medallist Lance Franklin, for total scoreboard impact during the home and away season. Teammate Eddie Betts was sixth.

Betts had more disposals inside attacking 50 (168) than any other player through the minor round. The livewire forward also had the most groundball gets (59) and was third for tackles (40) inside the attacking arc.

Hard-working Crow Tom Lynch claimed 29 marks inside 50m – second in the AFL during the regular season.

All Australian backman Rory Laird won the most groundball possessions (50) inside defensive 50 of any player during the home and away season.

Club Champion Matt Crouch averaged a disposal every 2.9 minutes of game time, ranked No.1 in the AFL.

Crouch broke the League’s all-time record for the most possessions in a single season with 825, beating Dane Swan’s 2010 campaign by five disposals. He also had the second-most handballs in a season by any player with 480.

Sam Jacobs’ 996 hit-outs was the third-highest tally in a season and a new Club record.

Rory Sloane’s 187 tackles bettered his own Club season record of 163 set last year and was fourth on the AFL’s all-time list.

The tough nut also earned 62 free kicks in 2017 – a Crows record.

Laird (162) and Brodie Smith (159) were both ranked inside the top 10 for combined inside 50m and rebound 50ms in Season 2017.

Laird collected 518 uncontested possessions in 2017the third-best tally from a season in AFL history.

Daniel Talia’s 231 ‘one percenters’ was the third-most in a single season ever.

Taylor Walker surpassed Tom Lynch for the most goal assists in a season by a Crow with 33.

Adelaide finished the regular season as the No.1 ranked team according to Champion Data’s statistical rankings with 1,398 points.

The Crows went long more than any other team, averaging 59 long kicks a game.

Adelaide was also No.1 for marks inside 50m (14.6) and contested possessions (154.7) per game on average.
