Forward Riley Knight has won the time trial of Adelaide’s 1 – 4 year players on Monday.

The young Crows returned to training with a two-kilometre run around the Adelaide Athletics Stadium.

Defender Jake Kelly led at the halfway mark, but was overpowered by Knight and promising onballer Wayne Milera Junior, who finished a close second. Rookie-listed ruckman Paul Hunter came fourth.

Running machines Knight and Kelly shared the honours last summer.

Knight edged out his rival in the first time trial last pre-season, while Kelly claimed the honours when the full squad battled it out.

The remainder of the Crows squad starts pre-season training on Monday, December 4.
