Co-captain Erin Phillips will be given every opportunity to prove her fitness ahead of Adelaide’s crucial AFLW clash with the Western Bulldogs at Norwood Oval on Saturday.

Phillips, 32, has missed the opening two rounds of the AFLW season because of a quad strain.

Coach Bec Goddard said the reigning AFLW Best and Fairest would be assessed closer to the game.

“Erin will increase her training loads as the week progresses,” Goddard said.

“Obviously, Erin is really keen to play on Saturday and we’ll give her every possible chance.”

All Australian Courtney Cramey, who is also yet to play this season, will miss another week with a hamstring injury.

Fellow joint-vice captain Ange Foley is unavailable for selection against the Bulldogs after accepting a one-match sanction from the AFLW Match Review Panel.

The Western Bulldogs will be without promising No.1 draft pick Isabel Huntington.

Huntington, 18, will miss the remainder of the AFLW season after rupturing her ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) against the Brisbane Lions on Sunday.

The Crows will take on the undefeated Dogs at 1:35pm (SA) on Saturday. Gates open at 10am.

Entry to the match is free. There will be a host of free kids activities and giveaways.

Crows AFLW members can redeem their free bobblehead from the membership tent outside the main entrance of Norwood Oval.

It’s not too late to become an Crows Women’s Team member from $30 (junior) or $60 (adult) and secure a limited edition bobblehead of your own.
