Midfielders Georgia Bevan and Sally Riley have been included in Adelaide’s extended squad to play Collingwood at Olympic Park on Sunday.
There are no omissions from the team that beat Fremantle at this stage, with the side to be finalised on Friday afternoon.
Emergencies last week, Bevan and Riley have both displayed strong SANFLW form.
The Crows are one of five teams in contention for the Grand Final heading into the exciting last round of the home and away season.
Adelaide must beat the in-form Magpies to keep the Club’s premiership defence intact.
If Greater Western Sydney defeat the Brisbane Lions on Friday night, the Crows will also have to make up percentage on the Giants to leapfrog them on the ladder.
Either way, Adelaide will know what’s required to make the Grand Final prior to the opening bounce on Sunday.
Coach Bec Goddard said her team would keep a simple approach this week.
“When we talk about how we’re preparing this week, the focus will be on winning the game rather than (thinking that) we’ve got to pile on six, seven, eight, nine, 10 goals,” she said.
“I think as soon as you start talking about that you’re not going to get the result you want.”
Sunday’s game starts at 2:35pm (AEDT). It will be broadcast live into Adelaide on 7Mate and nationwide on Fox Footy and the AFLW and AFL Live Apps.
The Magpies can’t make the decider, but have won two of their last three games including an upset over last year’s Grand Finalists the Brisbane Lions last weekend.
The Crows find themselves in a similar scenario to last year when they had to defeat Collingwood at the same venue to secure a place in the Grand Final.
On that day, Adelaide came from 24 points down to record a thrilling win and went on to claim the inaugural AFLW premiership the following week.
