Andy Otten will be a welcome addition to the SANFL Crows defence after being named for Adelaide’s Round Three clash with South Adelaide at Hickinbotham Oval on Saturday afternoon.

After missing the first few rounds with Achilles soreness, Otten will play his first game of the season against the Panthers.

Otten’s return is the only change to the SANFL team for Round Three, with development squad member Will Rivers omitted.

Curtly Hampton, Jordan Gallucci, Reilly O’Brien and Patrick Wilson have been named as emergencies for Adelaide’s AFL clash with Collingwood on Friday night, but will play in the SANFL if not required against the Magpies.

Another new name on the team sheet is Dom Costanzo.

Utility Costanzo was a late inclusion to last week’s game after successfully getting a permit to join the development squad from Central Districts.

After three and a half years on Centrals list, Costanzo was invited to join the squad by development coach Paul Thomas and he made his SANFL debut in Round Two.

Adelaide will be looking for their first win of the year in Round Three, while South Adelaide will be hoping to bounce back after a 48-point loss against Norwood last week.

The game at Hickinbotham Oval, Noarlunga Downs, gets underway at 2.10pm on Saturday.
