Wayne Milera Junior has followed up a perfect 10 votes from the coaches with his first-ever selection in AFL.com.au’s Team of the Week.

Milera was one of three Adelaide players chosen in Kane Cornes’ best 22 for Round Six.

The skilful 20-year-old, who gathered a career-high 33 disposals, was named in defence alongside teammate Daniel Talia.

Talia earned his second-consecutive Team of the Week selection after keeping Gold Coast co-captain Tom Lynch goalless at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.

Crow Tom Lynch, who kicked three goals from 25 disposals, was picked for the first time in 2018.

Melbourne and Port Adelaide also had an equal-round high three representatives.
