Adelaide looks set to be bolstered by the return of Paul Seedsman for this week’s Sir Doug Nicholls Round clash against Greater Western Sydney.

Seedsman was a late withdrawal from Sunday’s game against Melbourne with adductor soreness.

Crows General Manager High Performance Matt Hass said the Club took a conservative approach on the weekend.

“The doctors and Paul were not confident to push through into a match so he was a late withdrawal,” Hass said.

“We’ve had scans and they have all come back pretty clear so we are hopeful that he will train this week and be available on the weekend.”

Defender Luke Brown is listed as a test for Round 11 after suffering concussion during the first quarter of Sunday’s game.

“It was an unfortunate one for ‘Browny’ with a bit of friendly fire from ‘Tals’ in a marking contest,” Hass said.

“He’s responded really well, he will go into the concussion protocol now and be in the hands of doctors and hopefully he will train this week and be available for the Giants game.”

Vice-captain Rory Sloane is starting to increase his training loads as he recovers from a minor Lisfranc ligament strain.

“Sloaney is progressing really well with that Lisfranc injury, he’s had a period of rest so now he has recommenced running, some change of direction stuff and some light skills,” Hass said.

“All things are tracking along nicely and we expect to see him back in the next couple of weeks.”

In positive news draftee Andrew McPherson has fully recovered from his groin injury and will be available for the Club’s next SANFL game.
