The inclusion of six AFL-listed players will bolster Adelaide’s SANFL team ahead of their Showdown with Port Adelaide at Kadina Oval on Sunday afternoon.

Midfielder Cam Ellis-Yolmen, forward Elliott Himmelberg and ruckman Paul Hunter are all returning from injury while forward Darcy Fogarty and midfielders Myles Poholke and Curtly Hampton have been left out of the AFL side.

Development squad members Aron Asfaha and John Boxer have also been included in the extended squad.

The SANFL Crows have lost Rory Atkins, Alex Keath, Riley Knight and Lachlan Murphy to AFL selection and Timothy Auckland and Will Rivers are unavailable.

Adelaide’s only ‘home’ match of the year is being played at Kadina to give regional communities a chance to get involved in SANFL football.

In Round 14, it is the SANFL’s Indigenous Round and Adelaide will wear an Indigenous guernsey as part of the celebrations.

The match against Port Adelaide will be getting underway at 1.10pm on Sunday, and the game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 Adelaide from 1pm.
