Dominant performances by Matt Crouch and Hugh Greenwood saw Don Pyke and Chris Fagan hand each player eight votes while two other Crows, and two Lions, also polled.

Greenwood kicked four goals in a new role up forward while collecting 17 disposals – 14 of which were contested possessions. It was a career-best return for goals at the ground he debuted at last season.

Crouch, meanwhile, led all on with 40 disposals and eight clearances, plus a team-high six inside ground50s. Fifteen of his possessions were contested.

Defender Rory Laird received six votes following his 29-disposal game while Tom Lynch had one vote. Lynch had 23 disposals, including 13 contested.

Darcy Gardiner (four) and Alex Witherden (three) also polled with Witherden collecting 31 disposals. They combined for 23 marks.

Despite the six votes, Laird has dropped to 11th on the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Leaderboard with 52 votes. Melbourne’s Max Gawn remains in the lead with 71 votes despite not polling.
