Adelaide has now won 11 consecutive games at home against North Melbourne, dating back to 2003, after the side’s nine-point victory over the Roos on Sunday.

Matt Crouch produced a career-high 46 disposals, beating his previous best of 45 in Round 23 of 2017 against West Coast.

He still sits second behind Scott Thompson with 51 for the most disposals by an Adelaide player.

His 35 handballs are an AFL record with Crouch’s previous best 26, which he collected on three occasions.

Crouch’s 46 disposals ran at 84.8 per cent efficiency while he had 17 contested possessions, 30 uncontested possessions (two shy of his career-best), nine clearances and five tackles.

Rory Laird’s 41 disposal haul saw him pass 40 for the fourth time in 2018 and the fifth time in his career.

He had a season-high 21 kicks with eight contested possessions, 31 uncontested possessions, nine marks and five rebound 50s.

Laird and Crouch were the only players to pass 40 disposals in Round 22, with Brisbane’s Dayne Beams next best with 38.

Adelaide was also the only team to pass 400 disposals, amassing 464. Collingwood was the next highest with 399.

The Crows led the stats for kicks with 238, handballs at 226, marks at 120; 110 uncontested and uncontested possessions with 321.

North, meanwhile, had 372 disposals, 209 kicks, 163 handballs, 101 marks, 85 of which were uncontested, and 241 uncontested possessions.

While Adelaide ranked eighth for contested possessions with 147, Sloane had a round-high 20 contested possessions.

He also had a round-high six centre clearances and was second only to Sydney’s Luke Parker in groundball gets with 13.

Head-to-head saw the Crows win clearances 37-30, centre clearances 13-11, stoppages 24-19 and inside 50s 56-47.

The Kangaroos led tackles 68-57 and hitouts 38-30.

Adelaide had four long kicks to advantage, compared to North Melbourne’s one.

North and Adelaide were first and second for intercept marks with 23 and 21, respectively.

Three Kangaroos had 10 marks each: Jarrad Waite, Majak Daw and Robbie Tarrant.

Four Crows had nine marks each: Laird, Tom Doedee, Mitch McGovern and Jake Kelly.

Late addition Andy Otten kept Coleman Medal contender Ben Brown goalless for the third time this season.

Brown had an equal season-low four disposals while Otten had 19 disposals, his season-best from seven games.
