Adelaide has given a key member of its 2018 SANFL development squad a taste of its AFL program.

James Loneragan, a 189cm defender who played for the Crows' SANFL team this year, has been training at West Lakes since the Club’s first-to-fourth year players returned last Monday.

The former Swans Academy member, who turns 21 in January, joined Adelaide's development squad this year after relocating from Sydney.

“It’s great for James, it’s an opportunity to expose him to our AFL program,” Crows Head of Football Brett Burton said.

“While we can’t promise anything ahead of the draft, we look forward to him continuing in our SANFL program in 2019.”

Ruckman Paul Hunter, who was delisted at the end of the 2018 season after three years on the Rookie list, has also continued training with the Club ahead of the upcoming draft.
