Adelaide’s defensive line will be bolstered this weekend with the return of vice-captain Courtney Cramey for the crucial clash against the Demons on Saturday.

The 33-year-old headlines two changes to the Crows’ line up set to take on Melbourne in the final round of the home and away season.

Cramey has missed the past two games after suffering a hamstring strain in Round Four but has fast-tracked her recovery to return to the side earlier than expected.

Also returning to the side is Irish recruit Ailish Considine, who missed her first game of the season last Sunday.

BID FOR FINALS: The three scenarios facing Adelaide this weekend

The pair come in for midfielder Sally Riley and young Crow Nikki Gore, who made her debut last week at Unley Oval.

“Nikki Gore played really well in her first game and is unlucky to miss out but ultimately CJ just has a bit more experience,” coach Matthew Clarke told AFC Media.

“Sally has been playing really well also, but we ultimately went for Ailish because we’re playing on a large ground and she provides extra run.”

Adelaide will face Melbourne at Casey Fields, with the bounce at 4.45pm local time.

A win will secure the Crows’ chance of playing finals, while a loss could leave fans relying on results of other games.
