Adelaide has finalised its 24-man squad for Friday's Challenge Cup match against Carlton in Melbourne.

Ruckman Ivan Maric (glute) will take another week off and Tyson Edwards (leg soreness) will also miss, despite both training all this week.

Also out of the 28-man squad named yesterday are Daniel Talia and Jack Gunston but Phil Davis and Shaun McKernan will now travel to Melbourne.

The squad is: Reilly, Tippett, Griffin, Cook, Jacky, Doughty, Walker, Mackay, Davis, Johncock, Rutten, Douglas, Stevens, Sloane, Dangerfield, Petrenko, McKernan, Goodwin, Hentschel, Armstrong, Young, Bock, Henderson, Schmidt.
