Captain Simon Goodwin hopes some rest will allow him to return to the training track later this week.

But Andrew McLeod’s sore knee will keep him out for at least one more game.

Goodwin, who on Friday pulled out of the Balfours Showdown after being unable to train because of ankle soreness, is battling inflammation in the Achilles tendon area.

Trent Hentschel (hamstring) should be available to play in the SANFL this weekend and Chris Knights (side strain) may also be available. Brett Burton (ankle) is also rated as “test”.
