Made the move from half-back to the midfield in his second year of senior football and continued to impress. Played 19 of a possible 21 matches for the year in the SANFL and was named senior emergency on several occasions. The long-kicking left-footer averaged 23 disposals, three clearances and three tackles a game. Starred with a career-best 32 possessions in the Club’s Round 21 win against West Adelaide and only dipped below 20 disposals in four games all season. Earned third place in Adelaide’s State League Club Champion award and signed a one-year contract extension. Will be looking to break into the senior side in 2017.

The left-footer had a consistent year playing in Adelaide’s SANFL team. In his first season of senior football, Wigg was used predominantly across half-back where his neat kicking skills were used to set up play. He managed 15 matches for the season averaging 15 possessions, three marks and three rebounds per game. His best return was a 24-possession game in Round 15 against West Adelaide. He also booted two goals the week prior at Prospect against his junior club, North Adelaide. Twice named an AFL emergency, Wigg will be looking to continue his improvement in Season 2016.

Selected with Adelaide’s second pick (No.35) in the 2014 National Draft, Wigg is a rebounding defender with an elite left-foot kick.Wigg was named South Australia’s most valuable player at the Under-18 National Championships, and was also picked in the All-Australian team. The skilful local alsoplayed through the midfield with North Adelaide’s Under-18s and at Prince Alfred College.
