One of the quiet achievers of the Crows defence. Brown played every game of the 2015 season standing the opposition’s best small forward each week. He did this job with great success conceding just 0.7 goals per game. Brown was also extremely effective with ball in hand, leading Adelaide's defensive group for disposal efficiency at 80.2 per cent. One of the team's most reliable and durable performers, Brown has missed just one match in the last three seasons. Played his 50th AFL game in Round Four and signed a contract extension which will see him remain in Crows colours until at least the end of 2017.

The diligent defender played every game in his third AFL season. Brown was tasked with shutting down the opposition’s most dangerous small forward on a weekly basis. He played his role admirably, conceding an average of only one goal per game. Brown is an integral part of a young Adelaide backline, which will develop and grow together for many years to come.

Season by Season

One of Adelaide’s 2013 success stories, Brown played 21 games in his second AFL season. The composed defender stepped up in the absence of retired veteran Michael Doughty, routinely standing, and beating, the opposition’s most dangerous small forwards. Brown was one of four Crows to earn a Rising Star nomination (Round 23) and also received recognition from Adelaide’s coaching staff, taking out the Mark Bickley Award. Signed a two-year contract extension, tying him to the Club until at least the end of 2015.

Season by Season

Recruited as part of the deal that saw Brad Crouch become a Crow, Brown played three games in his debut season and was a member of Norwood’s Grand Final team. The tough and skilful utility has been used only as a lockdown defender at Adelaide, but has the potential to develop into a ball winner further up the ground.

Season by Season

A quick and versatile utility, Brown represented South Australia at the 2011 Under-18 Championships and also played league SANFL football with Norwood. The Crows secured the promising local as part of a deal with Greater Western Sydney, which also saw fancied North Ballarat midfielder Brad Crouch join the Club. Brown, 19, has fantastic skills on either side of his body and has won plenty of admirers at West Lakes with his competitive nature.
