One of the most improved players in the competition in 2017, Crouch earned All Australian selection and was crowned Crows Club Champion. The prolific ball winner broke the AFL record for most disposals in a season (825) surpassing Collingwood Brownlow Medallist Dane Swan’s mark of 820 in 2010. Crouch collected a career-high 45 disposals against West Coast in Round 23 last season, and amassed 30 or more possessions in 19 of his 25 games. The left-footer finished top 10 in the League for contested possessions, hard-ball gets, loose-ball gets and handball receives (350) in the home and away season.

A breakout year for the promising midfielder, who played a career-best 22 games for the season. Crouch became the 10th and youngest Crow to have 600 possessions in a season, averaging 28 disposals a game. He also broke Scott Thompson’s 2009 record for the most handballs in a season, amassing 359. He developed into a key part of the Crows midfield structure and was super consistent, only dipping below 20 possessions in one game all year. Won his first Showdown Medal as best-on-ground in the Club’s Round 22 win against Port Adelaide and secured seventh place in the Crows Club Champion award.

Season by Season

The talented young midfielder showed he has what it takes to play at the top level. Started his 2015 season in the SANFL but forced his way into the AFL side for the Round Six clash against Gold Coast. Crouch went on to play 17 games for the season averaging 21 disposals a game despite starting as the substitute on four occasions. Relishes the physical contest and will be looking to cement a midfield spot in 2016.

Season by Season

Crouch made an immediate impact in his first year of senior football. The ball magnet made his AFL debut in Round Three and retained his spot for the next five weeks, notching eight games in total for the year. Crouch earned a NAB Rising Star nomination in Round Five against GWS, despite being subbed out, and will be eligible for the award again in 2015. Dominated at state league level with an average of 33 possessions and eight clearances across 10 matches, and polled 12 votes on Magarey Medal night.

Season by Season

A prolific ball winner, Crouch joined his older brother, Brad, at Adelaide with pick No.23 in the National Draft. The tough midfielder averaged 37 disposals (16 contested), seven clearances and five tackles in seven TAC Cup games in 2013. The left-footer also represented Victoria Country at the Under-18 National Championships, and travelled to Europe as part of the AIS-AFL Academy squad.
