The former Richmond utility regained consistency in performance after an injury-marred first 18 months at Adelaide. Displayed good form for SANFL club Sturt throughout the season, but received only one opportunity at AFL level as a result of the settled Crows line-up.

Season by Season

The former Tiger wasn’t able to start pre-season training with his new teammates after two bouts of post-season surgery and struggled for continuity as a result, playing only 10 games in his first year at West Lakes. Tambling found form against St Kilda in round six, gathering 21 disposals and nine marks but was suspended for an errant elbow during the match and played only two of the next eight games. The quick half-back flanker will be hoping a strong second pre-season at Adelaide will translate into consistent form in 2012.
