Averaged a career-best 19 possessions across 17 games as a key link player on the wing and across half-back. An untimely back injury forced Henderson to miss five games mid-season, but he returned in Round 15 to produce some of his best form. The Victorian was resolute with 30 possessions and nine marks against Geelong in Round 23, and was again a key contributor in Adelaide's Elimination Final win with 29 disposals. On his way to a well-earned 100th AFL game in 2016.

Season by Season

A standout throughout pre-season, Henderson suffered a cruel twist of fate when he broke his leg during a training session in February. The long-kicking utility spent four months on the sidelines before making his return against GWS at Spotless Stadium. Henderson played the next seven matches and averaged 17 disposals a game in an encouraging finish to the season.

Season by Season

Henderson enjoyed a breakout season in 2013, establishing himself as a versatile ‘swingman’. The athletic utility played a variety of roles, but seemed most comfortable in defence where his height, speed and ability to read the play were paramount in the absence of the injured Brent Reilly. Unfortunately, Henderson was also struck down by injury – he had minor knee surgery, which put a premature end to his season after 14 games. Still, he gave Crows fans an exciting glimpse of what’s to come.

Season by Season

The basketball convert missed a chunk of the season with an ankle injury, but showed glimpses of his enormous potential in matches. A versatile athlete, Henderson switched between a wing and defence early in the year and kicked a career-best six goals playing as a forward against Port Adelaide in Round 15. Another player to commit to the Club in 2012, Henderson is on track to reach the 50-game milestone in 2013

Season by Season

After emerging as a surprise packet in attack in 2010, Henderson pushed up onto a wing last season. The shift gave the former basketballer greater freedom, allowing him to use his dangerous pace to exploit opposition teams. The 23-year-old, who battled a hip complaint in the latter stages of the season, kicked 12 goals in 18 matches and ranked No.1 at the Club for creating turnovers that led to Adelaide scores. His performance against the Western Bulldogs in Round 13, where he gathered 28 disposals and took nine marks, was a highlight.
