The exciting wingman played 16 AFL games in his second season at Adelaide, earning a NAB AFL Rising Star nomination after a three-goal performance against Fremantle in Round 10. He averaged 16 disposals at an impressive 78 per cent efficiency. Milera joined the distinguished list of winners of the Mark Bickley Emerging Talent Award, recognising the achievements of a first or second-year player under 21 on and off the field.

Adelaide’s first pick in the 2015 National Draft, Milera impressed from the moment he arrived at the Club. After a solid NAB Challenge series, the silky-skilled forward earned an AFL debut in Round One against North Melbourne. It didn’t take long for the speedster to find his feet with a 20-possession game in his first Showdown the following round and three goals against Gold Coast in Round Nine. Played eight senior games in total and spent time in the SANFL developing his craft, but has already shown glimpses of a bright future ahead.

Season by Season

A lifelong Crows fan, Milera’s childhood dream came true when he was selected by Adelaide with pick No.11 in the 2015 AFL National Draft. The classy half-forward/wingman made his SANFL debut for Central District as a 17-year-old and played 11 league games, including a match-defining three-goal haul in the club’s narrow Semi-Final win over Port Adelaide. Milera played all six games for South Australia at the Under-18 National Championships and his disposal efficiency across the carnival was among the best at 84 per cent. He continued his strong finish to the 2015 season by coming seventh in the 30-metre Repeat Sprint Test at the Draft Combine.
