Greg Gallman is expected to avoid surgery on his broken collarbone.
The young Crows defender visited a specialist today and will be sidelined for about eight weeks.
Gallman was Adelaide’s main casualty from Saturday night’s trial game against the Indigenous All-Stars in Darwin and returned to Adelaide on Sunday. The rest of the players are in Darwin until Wednesday.
Patrick Dangerfield suffered mild concussion but will be fit to train later this week and Taylor Walker – left out of the game to rest a tight quad – also is expected to be back on the track before the Crows’ NAB Cup opener against Geelong on February 21.
Adelaide’s next main training session is at Max Basheer Reserve on Thursday, from about 9.30am.
