A gift of good luck from the Crows could be the ‘secret weapon’ behind the Australian Cricket Team’s current success in India.

The Aussies have been spotted with a Crows Club-branded footy on several occasions during their trip to the subcontinent.

The Sherrin was snapped during team training sessions and even made it inside the players’ box of the Test in Bengaluru.

The footy was a small token of appreciation from the Club to the Aussies ahead of the Australia Day ODI at Adelaide Oval in January.

Australian coach and Crows Ambassador Darren Lehmann invited Crows coach Don Pyke and captain Taylor Walker into the team’s inner sanctum for a behind-the-scenes look at Australia’s clash with Pakistan.

The pair attended team meetings and sat alongside coaching staff and players throughout the ODI clash. For the record, Australia won the match by 57 runs.

The tourists are again in a strong position in the Second Test of their tour of India after stunning the home side by 333 runs in the opening contest.

Hopefully, Adelaide’s ‘lucky Sherrin’ continues to do the job for the Aussies.
