Adelaide’s Round 15 win over West Coast is the Club’s first since Round 9 when the Crows beat the Western Bulldogs by 37 points on May 18.

The Crows’ 88 points is also the most Adelaide has scored since the Round 8 Showdown when 90 points were scored in the loss to Port Adelaide.

Kicking 6.6 in the fourth quarter, Adelaide had its best final term of the season and equal third highest scoring quarter of 2018.

Adelaide dominated the final quarter against the Eagles, winning the inside 50 count 24-4. This was the highest differential count in this category in any quarter in any game of 2018.

The Crows also won contested possessions 49-28 and clearances 16-6 in the fourth quarter.

Returning from injury, Rory Laird recorded his 10th 30+ disposal game of the season. With 32 touches, he keeps his season average at a healthy 32.8.

Matt Crouch matched his efforts with 32 disposals, ranking second overall in the Round for contested possessions with 20.

A career-first goal for defender Tom Doedee highlighted a standout performance which saw him collect nine intercept possessions, ranking equal fifth for Round 15 in that category.

Ruckman Sam Jacobs put in another monumental effort with 39 hitouts, 18 disposals and one goal. Champion Data saw him rank third overall for the round with 144.7 points, behind only Melbourne’s Max Gawn and Hawthorn’s Tom Mitchell.

Spearhead Taylor Walker had a season-high seven scoring shots with 3.4 his best return since booting 4.1 against Sydney in Round 5.

Winning the contested possessions 163-134, Adelaide also won overall disposals (365-335), clearances (44-34) and inside 50s (66-34).

The Eagles were on top when it came to tackles (81-53), marks (89-79) and narrowly disposal efficiency (74.9% - 72.1%).

Adelaide’s love of contested football flowed through to their marking with the 18 contested marks a Round High. Walker and Hugh Greenwood led the side with four and three respectively.
