Tyson Stengle will be a Crow in 2019 after Adelaide finalised a trade with Richmond on Tuesday.

Stengle will join the ranks at West Lakes in exchange for pick No. 68 in this year’s draft.

The skilful small forward has spent the past two years with the Tigers after being drafted from Woodville West Torrens with pick No. 6 in the 2017 Rookie Draft.

Crows General Manager List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said the 19-year-old would add another dynamic element to Adelaide’s forward line.

"Tyson adds a bit of speed and goal sense and complements what our other forwards already offer,” Reid said.

“We look forward to him joining us for the start of pre-season training.”

This season, he was unable to break into Richmond’s strong senior side despite kicking 33 goals in 19 games at VFL level to finish equal seventh in the League goal kicking.

The new Crow, who is the nephew of Sydney great Michael O'Loughlin, will join the side for pre-season training in November.

Following the exchange, the Club currently holds picks 8, 13, 16, 21, 72 and 82 in next month’s national draft.
