Trek Kokoda with the Crows

Our goal is to raise 50K to support South Australian families dealing with the effects of childhood brain cancer.
Kyle Hartigan

Tick off a bucket list ambition while helping to support our state’s most vulnerable children and youth and trek Kokoda with the Adelaide Crows.

The Kokoda Track, located in Papua New Guinea, served as a backdrop for many during the Pacific War of World War II.

This trip of a lifetime will push you mentally, physically and spiritually as you navigate your way through history.

Not only will this intimate experience be one to remember, you will raise funds for the Adelaide Crows Children’s Foundation and its many programs established to engage, inspire and enrich the lives of children and youth.

As an inaugural fundraising initiative for the Foundation, this trek will have a particular focus on children and youth affected by brain cancer.

“Over recent years, two members of our extended Adelaide Football Club family have been directly impacted by the devastating disease, brain cancer,” Kyle Hartigan, Adelaide player and Crows Children’s Foundation director, said.

“As a director of the Crows Children’s Foundation, I have witnessed the capacity of our Club to come together and support kids in need and it is hard to imagine a greater need.

“Our goal is to raise 50K to support South Australian families dealing with the effects of childhood brain cancer.”

The trip will be held from the 17th to the 27th of October, 2019.

An information session about the trip will be held in June at the Adelaide Football Club and an information pack is available here.
