After sharing a collection of Crows players least favourite AFL rules, we thought it was only fair to also share their favourites.

No surprises 'holding the ball' was popular, with many Crows choosing the rule for the impact it has on the fans.

WORST RULE: Crows take their pick

Hugh Greenwood also picked that rule, but for a different reason.

Ned McHenry was concerned for the long-term welfare of footballers' backs, while Myles Poholke was thankful for the rest he gets following a goal...

Here's the choices:

Wayne Milera: Advantage rule, game isn’t held up

Tom Doedee: New play on at kick-in rule - not the best at kicking to myself

Sam Jacobs: Centre circle for ruckman to jump in

Rory Sloane: Holding the ball, crowd loves it

Rory Laird: Holding the ball

Rory Atkins: Super goal (AFLX)

Riley Knight: 6-6-6 starting positions, stops the flood

Richard Douglas: Holding the ball, the crowd love yelling ‘ball’

Reilly O’Brien: Can now grab it out of the ruck without prior opportunity

Ned McHenry: Hands in the back. Backs already get sore enough when you get older, the last thing we need is a bunch of hands on them now

Myles Poholke: Goal, have a rest

Matt Crouch: Advantage rule

Luke Brown: The new kick in rule

Lachlan Murphy: Ruck nomination rule because it’s much needed and doesn’t cause any confusion what so ever..

Jordan Gallucci: High tackle because I’m short

Jake Kelly: 6-6-6 at centre bounce, more 1 on 1’s

Hugh Greenwood: Holding the ball. Tackling gets me a game each week and keeps food on the table

David Mackay: Deliberate rush behinds, doesn’t give defenders an easy out

Darcy Fogarty: Holding the ball

Daniel Talia: The 6-6-6 set up at centre bounces, more one-on-one contests

Chayce Jones: High contact for safety

Brodie Smith: Advantage

Brad Crouch: Chop the arms free kicks

Andy Otten: Centre circle for rucks - I cringe watching the old school rucks have a 20m run up and crash into each other
