Adelaide forward Taylor Walker has heaped praise on young Crow Ned McHenry after the SANFL side’s 62-point win over Norwood on Sunday.

Speaking on Triple M’s Roo & Ditts, Walker labelled McHenry a future great of the Club.

“How good is he?” Walker said.

“He’s going to play a lot of games for our footy club and we saw what he could do on the weekend.

“He’s going to be a star.”

Adelaide’s State League side stormed into a preliminary final against Glenelg, thanks in part to McHenry’s four goals.

If Adelaide wins, it will advance to the Grand Final and face Port Adelaide in the big dance.

“It was very exciting (the SANFL win on the weekend),” Walker said.

“The boys played really well and (we) saw some of our young guys.

“It’s going to be an even better game against Glenelg this weekend, they’re a very good side.”

Last week, Walker announced his wife Ellie was pregnant and that the pair were expecting in November.

Just 24 hours earlier, Walker revealed that he was stepping down as captain of the Club after five years.
