Crows forward Taylor Walker has won Adelaide’s Leading Goalkicker for the third time after booting 43 goals in 2019.

Walker booted three or more goals on eight occasions, finishing off the season with a five-goal haul in the Round 23 loss to the Western Bulldogs.

This performance secured his lead, with Eddie Betts finishing second with 37 goals.

2019 marks the fourth time in the last five seasons Walker has kicked 40 goals or more.

He is now the third Crow to win the award on three occasions, joining Darren Jarman and Scott Welsh.

Eddie Betts has won the award four times, while Tony Modra claimed it on five occasions between 1993 and 1997.

Walker kicked his 400th career goal in Round 11.

He now sits just 14 goals behind Modra (440) on Adelaide’s all-time goalkicking list.

The 29-year-old’s impact went beyond his scoreboard statistics as he ranked equal-second in the League for inside-50s (66), sixth for score involvements (135) and sixth for goal assists (15) of all key forwards.

He also took the most contested marks of any Crow with 31 and the most marks inside 50 with 42.
