The Crows veteran became the 16th player to reach 200 games for the Club in 2018 in his 12th season of AFL football. Mackay was drafted in 2006 from the Oakleigh Chargers in the TAC Cup, having played a starring role for Vic Metro. He made 19 appearances in his debut season and won the Mark Bickley Emerging Talent Award. Evolving from a dashing midfielder into a more versatile utility, Mackay’s career has been built on resilience and he was rewarded with Life Membership at the Club in 2016. That same year he also received the Dr Brian Sando OAM Trophy for his outstanding professionalism and attention to detail.
