Emerged as a dominant force in the inaugural AFL Women’s competition. Metcalfe shouldered the bulk of Adelaide’s ruck responsibility in all eight matches and gave the Club’s onballers first use more often than not. The towering tall was third in the League for hit-outs (136) and ranked fourth for hit-outs to advantage (24), but also made her presence felt at ground level, finishing inside the top seven at the Club for clearances. One of six Crows to poll in the inaugural AFL Women’s Best and Fairest count.
