Included in the All Australian squad of 40 on the back of another consistent season in 2017. Lynch averaged a personal best 21 disposals, seven marks and three inside 50ms. He kicked 30 or more (31) goals for the fourth time in his career including four hauls of three goals. Ranked top five in the AFL for marks and score involvements despite missing two games with viral meningitis, and finished top 10 in the Crows Club Champion award. Reached the 100-game milestone against Port Adelaide in Round 20.

Season by Season

Continues to be one of the Club’s most consistent players and a crucial part of the Crows’ forward structure. Kicked a career-best 42 goals, was third in the competition for score involvements (209) and also finished sixth in the League for goal assists (20). Lynch won his first Showdown Medal after his six-goal effort against Port Adelaide in Round Two and soared to third place in the Crows Club Champion award. His standout season was rewarded with his first nomination in the 40-man All Australian squad. Voted into Adelaide's senior leadership group for the first time in Season 2017.

Season by Season

The hard-working forward took his game to another level in Season 2015. After a frustrating 2014 campaign, played all 23 games and was one of Adelaide's most consistent contributors as an avenue between defence and attack. He kicked 32 goals for the season but also worked hard to bring his teammates into the game. Lynch led the League for goal assists (30) and was equal-fifth for total score involvements (159). Re-committed to the Club by signing a three-year contract extension that will see him remain a Crow until at least the end of 2018.

Season by Season

Injuries restricted Lynch to just eight matches in what was a frustrating year for the forward. After recovering from post-season foot surgery, Lynch dislocated his shoulder in Adelaide’s final pre-season game against GWS. The former Saint managed just one full game, an influential 25-disposal performance against the Bulldogs in Round Six, before suffering a broken jaw in the opening minutes against Melbourne the following week. A scary collision at the Gabba in Round 20 saw Lynch stretched off with a fractured neck that ended his season. Lynch still managed to boot multiple goals on three occasions, but will be eager for a fresh start and change in fortune in 2015.

Season by Season

The hard-working forward enjoyed the most consistent season of his AFL career to-date in 2013, playing 17 games and establishing himself as an important contributor in the Crows team. Lynch topped Adelaide’s goalkicking with 33.20, despite missing the last two games with a foot injury, which required surgery. Also ranked No.1 at the Club for marks and second in goal assists.

Season by Season

Recruited from St Kilda in the 2011 trade period, Lynch played the opening three games of the season but only three more thereafter. The athletic forward picked up 17 possessions and two goals against the Western Bulldogs in Round Two, but had limited opportunities overall – starting in the green vest on multiple occasions.

Season by Season

Originally selected by St Kilda with the pick after Lewis Johnston in the 2008 AFL Draft (No.13 overall), Lynch also made his way to Adelaide during trade week. The presence of prominent forwards Nick Riewoldt and Justin Koschitzke meant Lynch received limited opportunities at the Saints, playing six games – including five last year – in three seasons. The quick and agile 192cm forward kicked two goals against North Melbourne in Round 15 and could also be used in defence.
