Adelaide Premiership player Nikki Gore has informed the Club of her desire to be traded to Fremantle.

The Crows will now work with the Dockers to strike a suitable arrangement for Gore, who has played 21 AFLW games, to head west.

Crows Women’s Head of Football Phil Harper said it was disappointing but the Club respected her decision to pursue more opportunities to play a different role.

“Nikki is a Premiership player who is yet to reach her peak and we have invested heavily in her development,” Harper said.

“She is an outstanding character who will be missed by her teammates, however we understand her desire for more midfield time.

“We have already begun discussions with Fremantle and will provide our Members and fans with an update when the Sign and Trade period starts.”

Gore was selected with Pick No.8 at the 2018 AFLW Draft and made her debut in Round Six, 2019.
