It was a solid round of Dream Team scores for the Crows with more than a third of the side returning a score of 85 points or more in the Club’s big victory over West Coast.

Patrick Dangerfield again led the way, finishing season 2013 with a massive 126 points. Dangerfield was electric collecting 29 disposals, eight marks and hitting the scoreboard with 3.2.

2013 DT Rankings

1. Midfielder Richard Douglas finished the year as Adelaide’s best Dream Team performer (21st overall) with 2,117 points. ‘Dougy’ finished the year with an average of 96.23 points per game and a season-high score of 124 points in Round Eight.

2. Bullish midfielder Scott Thompson was Adelaide’s next-best DT performer. Thompson finished 26th in the competition for total points, with an average of 93.14 point per round. The 30-year-old’s highest score (136 points) came in the Crows’ Round 22 win over Melbourne.

3. Rory Sloane was Adelaide’s third best Dream Team player, posting 1,986 total points. Sloane finished with a competition DT ranking of 34 and a healthy average of 94.57 points per round. His highest round score (145 points) came in Round 20.

4. Patrick Dangerfield finished with a season total of 1,973 points, ranking him 38th in the competition and 4th in total points for the Crows; a fantastic effort given the explosive midfielder missed three games due to injury. Dangerfield averaged 98.65 points per round in 2013 and his highest score (145 points) was recorded in Round Six.

5. Bernie Vince rounded out the Crows’ top-five Dream Team best performers – ranked 80th in the competition for total points (1,741). Vince enjoyed a respectable average of 82.90 points per round, with his highest score (119 points) coming against Fremantle in Round 18.

Rising star 
19-year-old midfielder Brad Crouch got better and better with each game in his debut AFL season.  Crouch finished as the most improved Dream Team player in the competition, producing 1,289 points from 14 games in 2013. Crouch averaged 92.07 points per round and had a whopping overall price change of $333,100.

Surprise package
Forward Tom Lynch surprised a lot of Dream Team coaches in 2013 with his DT numbers sky-rocketing in his second year in Crows colours. Lynch averaged 87.12 in his 17 games this year; his standout Dream Team performance (165 points) coincided with his 10-goal performance against GWS in Round Seven.
