Adelaide

Eddie Betts:
Has had two goalless games, but hit back in style with five goals and the possible goal of the year against Greater Western Sydney. Selected in the final team for the first time last year, Betts can retain his All Australian status with a big second half of the season. The livewire forward is currently equal-fourth in the Coleman Medal race with 27 goals and is averaging a career-best 14.3 disposals and four tackles per game. Betts has kicked three goals or more in six of his 10 games so far this season.

Josh Jenkins: Has taken his game to a new level this season including a career-high eight goals against the Western Bulldogs. Sits alongside Betts with 27 goals to be equal-fourth in the AFL for goals and also ranks equal-second in the League for goal assists. Is currently averaging career-best numbers for possessions, disposal efficiency and has booted multiple majors in six games this season.

Team of the Week time for trio

Rory Laird: Unlucky to miss a spot in the final All Australian team last year, Laird picked up where he left off earlier this season before he was sidelined with a toe injury. Is averaging a career-high 25.7 possessions per game, six marks and four rebound 50ms and could go one better this year if he continues his consistency upon his return from injury.

Rory Sloane: Throws himself into everything, averaging 23 possessions, seven tackles and four clearances per game. The heart and soul of Adelaide's midfield, Sloane is equal-fifth in the AFL for tackles and also leads the Crows for contested possessions and hard-ball gets. Has also kicked seven goals this season. The 2013 Club Champion is still chasing his first All Australian blazer.

Daniel Talia: Continues to perform at an elite level in his pursuit of a second All Australian blazer. Rarely has his colours lowered one-on-one standing the competition's most dangerous forwards, week-in, week-out. Talia is second in the AFL for spoils but he's also finding more of the ball himself, averaging a career-best 15 disposals at 80 per cent efficiency.
