Adelaide's Kurt Tippett has been nominated for the Origin AFL Goal of the Year for his dribbling goal from an impossible angle against Sydney at AAMI Stadium on Saturday night.

Tippett received a slow handball from teammate Scott Thompson and was corralled towards the boundary line. It didn't appear to faze him as he slammed it on to his right boot and a perfectly designed curling ball sneaked past the right hand goal post and a lunging Swans defender.
