Crows fans are clearly biased but have voted to include gun recruit Eddie Betts as a forward in our AFL Fantasy team.

And surprise, surprise – Gold Coast champ Gary Ablett was the overwhelming selection from a group of the 2013 season’s superstar Fantasy midfielders.

Hawthorn’s Sam Mitchell was also a clear winner of the poll to be selected as our dual position player in defence.

Nearly half the team has now been chosen to represent the represent the Adelaide Football Club in an AFL Fantasy league competing against some other AFL clubs.

Ablett, Betts and Mitchell join Sam Jacobs, Aaron Sandilands, Tom Boyd, James Aish and Crows Patrick Dangerfield, Rory Sloane and Matt Crouch as the first selections in our team.

Over the coming days before the start of the AFL premiership season we will continue to seek fan input through a series of polls on afc.com.au, Facebook and Twitter to choose a team to take on other fans-selected teams from clubs including Brisbane, North Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Geelong and West Coast.

Fan votes will decide how our team is picked and then also the trades and captain selections throughout the season.

The latest set of poll questions below will find us a pair of cheap ruckmen for the bench, a cheap bench midfielder, a bargain bench defender and another high-priced defender to join Mitchell.

So vote now in our poll below and stay tuned to afc.com.au, Facebook and Twitter to continue to have your say in Adelaide’s AFL Fantasy team.
