Greater Western Sydney has made two changes to its team ahead of Thursday night’s Qualifying Final at Adelaide Oval.

Former Docker Matt de Boer and young utility Harry Himmelberg return to the Giants’ side for the opening match of the 2017 finals series.

Devon Smith was ruled out due to knee soreness while veteran Steve Johnson has been omitted.

The club has stated Johnson will in Friday’s scratch match at Football Park on Friday morning, which begins at 10.30am and is free to the public.
