Adelaide hopes to have some experienced players available to help cover the likely loss of four more injured Crows.

Nathan van Berlo (hamstring/back), Graham Johncock (thumb) and Scott Stevens (concussion) are all expected to train with the main group this week and could be available to play Carlton at AAMI Stadium on Saturday.

Stevens pulled out of yesterday’s clash with Melbourne because of the lingering effects of concussion suffered in round one. van Berlo trained on the weekend and Johncock is now ready to move into full training.

Of the group injured on Sunday, at this stage Bock is the only one ruled out of the Carlton game. He has a slight strain of his left hamstring. Kurt Tippett (ankle) and Trent Hentschel (knee) are considered doubtful . Patrick Dangerfield was last night cleared of neck fractures but was to have more scans today.
