Adelaide’s passionate Victorian members are growing as a force. The team has always enjoyed strong support when playing in Melbourne and with seven matches in Melbourne this season our faithful Melbourne members will enjoy seeing the team almost as much as the Adelaide members.The Club has had a Melbourne office for more than 10 years, looking after the needs of our Members and Team sponsors, with two loyal staff - Di McKenzie and Jane Matthews - always striving with their friendly service to ensure our Melbourne members are looked after and are closely connected to the Club.In May the office will be moving to brand new premises adjacent to Telstra Dome providing our members with a Club they can visit right in the heart of Victorian football."Our Melbourne members are very passionate about their team, as many are from South Australia and miss their home State,” said Di McKenzie, Manager of the Club's Melbourne office. “Being involved with the Club enables them to meet and socialise with others from SA and support their team at the same time. Whenever the team plays in Melbourne they feel like they are back in South Australia!" Adelaide has more than 1300 members in Melbourne and is targeting 2000 by 2009. Along with the strong membership support we also have many supporters who travel from Adelaide and country regions, resulting in some matches in Melbourne where we have as many supporters as the local Melbourne team.Di McKenzie says: "Our after match functions are free for all members to attend and usually average at least 1000 people each game. They get to see the players after the match as well as catch up with other South Australian people either living in Melbourne or who have travelled over from Adelaide".The Club has a program of events scheduled for Melbourne this year which includes a Dinner/Dance Auction, Coaching Clinic for kids, two business luncheons, pre-match corporate functions featuring Neil Craig, Grand Final breakfast and more.If you want to be part of this united group of Adelaide Crows members in Melbourne, please call Di McKenzie on (03) 9827 9111.
