Lewis Johnston’s comeback from a knee injury took another big step on the weekend with a dominant display for North Adelaide.

Released into the ruck because of an injury to former Crow James Craig, Johnston collected 29 possessions, had 17 hit-outs and kicked 3.2 in North’s 87-point win over Glenelg.

Rookie ruckman Jack Osborn, who had hip surgery at the start of the season, kicked three goals in a successful comeback with Central District’s reserves.

But Jared Petrenko only played a few minutes for the Eagles, forced off by a heavy head knock.

Norwood had the bye.
