Lightning-quick Crow Patrick Dangerfield has set a new Club record in the 40-metre sprint.

The players tested their speed over a variety of distances on Monday, with Dangerfield leading the way in each. The three-time AFL Grand Final Sprint winner cruised to a personal best time.

Rookie-listed ruckman Jack Osborn was another standout. The 205cm, 105kg, former basketballer defied his big frame to post the second-best time of the day. Defenders Luke Brown and Luke Thompson weren’t far behind the big Tasmanian.

New recruit Charlie Cameron rounded out the top five, edging out David Mackay. Speedy pair Josh Jenkins and Ricky Henderson, on the comeback from injury, didn’t test.
