The new arrangement of Adelaide’s club song commissioned for the Club’s first home game at Adelaide Oval was created by Australian conductor and composer Guy Noble.

Adelaide-raised musical theatre performer Debora Krizak sang the song before the game against the Sydney Swans on Saturday.

Noble has conducted the Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Western Australian, Tasmanian, Queensland and Canberra Symphony Orchestras and has also been musical director and musical aupervisor of many major musicals, including Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard, South Pacific and most recently the touring production of the Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. He was the host of the Breakfast show on ABC Classic FM from 1999-2001, and is still a regular guest presenter on the network.

The Adelaide Football Club’s song is set to the music of the US Marines’ Hymn. The original music is from the Gendarmes' Duet (the "bold gendarmes") from the 1867 revision of the opera Geneviève de Brabant by Jacques Offenbach (1819-1880), which debuted in Paris in 1859.

Lyrics to the Crows Club Song were written by former Adelaide Football Club CEO Bill Sanders.
