A record number of kids and their families turned out for the Club’s annual Junior Members Clinic on Tuesday night.

More than 1,000 Junior Members converged on AAMI Stadium to participate in an hour-long football skills clinic hosted by Crows players and staff.

Patrick Dangerfield manned the goalkicking station, but spent as much time teaching goal celebrations as technique. Defenders Andy Otten and Brodie Smith oversaw a hotly-contested handball competition, and fittingly Jared Petrenko hosted a tackling drill alongside Matthew Jaensch.

The revved up Junior Members also enjoyed taking aim at forwards Taylor Walker and Eddie Betts, who put their bodies on the line as targets in a kicking efficiency drill.

But as always, Rory Sloane was king of the kids. Sloaney engaged his group in a game of tag and pulled everyone in for a team huddle at the end.

After the clinic, Junior Members were treated to a free sausage and drink from the Crows Supporters Group, who was on hand to cook its famous BBQ.
