Crows midfielder Richard Douglas has been referred directly to the AFL Tribunal for an incident involving Greater Western Sydney co-captain Callan Ward at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.

Douglas has been charged with rough conduct for a hip and shoulder on Ward in the second quarter of Adelaide's win over GWS.

The hearing is set for 5:00pm (Melbourne time) on Tuesday. Douglas and Club officials will travel to Melbourne to present his case.

The Club will be making no further comment on the matter at this stage.

Giants midfielderToby Greene has also been cited by the Match Review Panel for a clash in Sunday’sgame.

Green hasbeen charged with a Level Three striking offence (225 demerit points, two-matchsanction) for striking Richard Douglas in the second quarter.

In summary, Greene can accept a one-match sanction with an earlyplea. Based on speaking with the umpire and a medical report from theAdelaide Football Club, the incident was assessed as intentional conduct (threepoints), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a totalof six activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level ThreeOffence, drawing 225 demerit points and two-match sanction. He has no existinggood or bad record. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 168.75points and a one-match sanction.
