The Adelaide Football Club has a new media partner, linking with Channel 7 for at least the next three years.

The partnership will see the organisations work closely to promote the AFL, SANFL and grassroots football across South Australia.

Adelaide Football Club Chief Executive Officer Steven Trigg said the alliance made sense.

“Just like the Crows, Seven has a strong presence in South Australia and they are also an official AFL broadcaster,” he said.

“We have had a healthy and long standing relationship, and look forward to strengthening our ties.”

Channel 7 Adelaide General Manager Tony Davison said the network was delighted to formalise its already close relationship with the Crows.

“We were an inaugural sponsor in 1991 and it’s terrific we’re formally renewing our special relationship all these years later,” he said.

“No state is more passionate about their footy and their teams than South Australia and Seven has been SA’s footy station for over 50 years.

“It makes sense that Seven extends our broadcasting role and further supports our great game at a local club level.”
