Daniel Wells will miss Saturday’s clash with the Crows after accepting a one-match ban from the Match Review Panel.

Wells was reported for two separate incidents from North Melbourne’s win over the Western Bulldogs last week. The midfielder was cited for striking in the third quarter and faced a rough conduct charge from the final term, both against Bulldog Shaun Higgins.

Taking into account Wells’ good record and an early plea, the combined points tally from both incidents resulted in a one-week suspension.

It was Wells' first AFL appearance since Round Five after returning from a foot injury.

The club also accepted the charges handed down to Aaron Black and Lindsay Thomas, who were fined $1,200 each for their involvement in a melee in the closing stages of the second quarter.

Brent Harvey will face the AFL Tribunal tonight to face a misconduct charge involving Bulldogs tagger Liam Picken.
