Bragging rights are on the line as the Fantasy Crows take on North Melbourne in the final round of the 2014 AFL Fan Fantasy league.

The Roos have been our main rival all season and sit just above us in second on the Fan Fantasy ladder after 22 rounds. Regardless of the result, we will finish the season in a respectable third on the ladder, but it would be nice touch to knock off North in the last head-to-head match of the year.

Our side comfortably accounted for Geelong last week with a score of 2,092 to continue Adelaide’s undefeated run against the Fantasy Cats.

Scott Thompson (111) was our best-performing Crow in an outstanding return from a hamstring complaint.

Tom Rockliff (154) again produced the goods as our Fantasy skipper, while teammates Dayne Zorko (132) and Stefan Martin (107) were not far behind.

Suns young gun David Swallow (120) recorded his second-highest total of the season to join Swans veteran Jarrad McVeigh (113) as our most prolific defenders for Round 22.

Luke Parker (128) and Scott Pendlebury (111) were the remaining players to raise the bat for the Fantasy Crows.

As you would expect, our team is looking extremely strong at this late stage of the year, but we could still make use of our last two trades of the season.

Steve Johnson continues to battle a foot injury and should be moved on to make use of his $539,903 value.

Our midfield is already at full stength, so we could make better use of Johnson’s value by trading him for a dual-position MID/FWD. We could then use this gun player to switch with the non-playing Mitch Honeychurch in our forward line.

Our final trade of the season could be used to bolster our forward bench cover. Charlie Cameron has been fantastic for Adelaide in his debut year at West Lakes, but we could switch to the Round 22 Rising Star nominee Matt Taberner, who scored 110 points last round and may be a better back-up option.
