Leading goal kicker Eddie Betts is among several Crows who will undergo post-season surgery.

Betts, who enjoyed a standout first season at Adelaide, will have minor hip surgery in Melbourne as early next week.

It should not delay his return to pre-season training in November.

Midfielder Scott Thompson and All Australian contender Daniel Talia require minor knee operations.

Andy Otten, who will be sidelined for 12 months after having his right knee reconstructed last month, will also have minor exploratory surgery on his left knee.

Defender Sam Shaw will have a procedure to rectify a troublesome hamstring.

Crows Head of Football David Noble said none of the injuries were considered serious.

"It is part of the modern game that some players require surgery at season's end," Noble said.

"All things going well, we should have the entire squad, minus Andy Otten, up and about for the start of pre-season training in November."

Young defender Sam Siggins underwent wrist surgery last week.
