A statistical look at the Adelaide Football Club’s All Australian history since 1991 …

1 – Nigel Smart was the first Crow to be recognised with All-Australian selection in 1991.

5 – Adelaide’s best-ever All-Australian representation was in 1993 when five players, Smart, Ben Hart, Greg Anderson, Tony Modra and Tony McGuinness, all made the team.

8 – Mark Ricciuto has more All Australian crowns than any other Crow. The Brownlow Medallist was selected in the team eight times, including twice as captain (2004 and 2005). Only five players have earned more All Australian selections: Craig Bradley, Stephen Kernahan, Simon Madden, John Platten and Paul Roos were all crowned nine times.

2 – Andrew McLeod is the only other Crow to be named captain of the All Australian team. A five-time All Australian McLeod received the honour in 2007.

9 – Crows have earned multiple All Australian selections. Mark Ricciuto (eight), Andrew McLeod (five), Simon Goodwin (five), Ben Hart (four), Tony Modra (two), Shaun Rehn (two), Nigel Smart (two), Tony McGuinness (two) and Patrick Dangerfield (two). Darren Jarman was selected once as a Crow (1996) and twice during his Hawthorn career.

18 – Defender Ben Hart is Adelaide’s youngest-ever All Australian. Hart was only 18-years-old when he made the 1993 team.

2 – Patrick Dangerfield is the only current multiple All Australian at West Lakes. Dangerfield earned selection in 2012 and 2013. Scott Thompson is the only other current-day Crow to have earned All Australian selection, also in 2012.

15 – A total of 15 Crows have earned All Australian selection: Patrick Dangerfield, Scott Thompson, Simon Goodwin, Nathan Bock, Andrew McLeod, Nathan Bassett, Ben Rutten, Ben Hart, Shaun Rehn, Nigel Smart, Tony Modra, Darren Jarman, Greg Anderson, Tony McGuinness and Chris McDermott.

3 – The Crows have not had All Australian representation in only three of the Club’s 24 years.
